Happiness 101

Something got me a little bit down today. I’m not feeling too good. There are days like this that hit you, and these days can zap out all of your energy. It’s hard to stay happy on days like these.

I’m generally a happy lass. I’m always happy. People tell me that I’m always hyper and full of energy. They tell me that whenever I enter a room, I have this aura that is contagious — so contagious that it makes everyone jump for joy and makes them happy and elated. People ask me what my secret is. Today, i’ll be sharing one of my Happiness 101 tips.

One of my tips is to list down the little things that make you happy. You can write this list every morning, every lunchtime, or every evening. It doesn’t matter, actually, just WRITE THEM DOWN. Aside from the love from family, the support of friends, do write down even the littlest detail.

My list yesterday was…
1. my new Angry Birds pen that Miss Chuchi gave me (thanks miss chuch!)
2. not so oily hair (it has been oily for the past week and I don’t know why)
3. not so stressful day
4. new ‘racket’ or an opportunity to earn
5. Thursdays (one day away from a Friday)
and
6. My husband… who is so supportive :)

You will be surprised that you have a lot of things more things to be thankful and happy about than things to be sad about.

Try it and you’ll see what a wonderful world this is.
